Tincture of Iodine for Many Diseases

Iodine is an essential element for life and is the heaviest element commonly needed by living organisms. According to Wikipedia, in areas where there is little iodine in the diet, typically remote inland areas and semi-arid equatorial climates where no marine foods are eaten, iodine deficiency gives rise to hypothyroidism, symptoms of which are extreme fatigue, goiter, mental slowing, depression, weight gain, and low basal body temperatures.
Iodine deficiency is the leading cause of preventable intellectual disability, a result that occurs primarily when babies or small children are rendered hypothyroidic by a lack of the element. The addition of iodine to table salt has largely eliminated this problem in the wealthier nations, but iodine deficiency remains a serious public health problem today in the developing world. Iodine deficiency is also a problem in certain areas of Europe. Information processing, fine motor skills, and visual problem solving are improved by iodine repletion in moderately iodine-deficient children.
Iodine is a trace mineral the body needs to make thyroid hormones, which are essential for normal growth and development. In your body, about 70 to 80% of iodine is found in the thyroid gland in the neck.
There are 6 basic iodine deficiency symptoms:

  • Hair loss or thinning hair
  • Weight gain
  • Intolerance to cold temperatures
  • Irritability
  • Depression
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle aches and pains

To see if you have enough iodine in your body, or if you have hypothyroidism (low thyroid function)  perform the Iodine Patch Test before bedtime.

  1. Get a solution or tincture of iodine (the brown/orange solution, not the clear one).
  2. Paint three 10 cm strips on your inner forearm. Allow it to dry before touching anything, as it will stain.
  3. Monitor the patch for color changes.
The first strip should be the brightest one, the second one should be dull brown/orange, and the third one is the dullest one.
Examine your hand in the morning. What strips did your skin absorb while you were sleeping?
  • If the body absorbs only a faint painted stripe, it indicates that there is enough iodine in your body. Just to make sure you keep body iodine sufficiency take some iodine-based supplements in the autumn-winter time.
  • If the body absorbs two strips, it indicates that there is not enough iodine in your body!
  • If there is no trace of all three strips on your arm, it means you have an acute shortage of iodine in the body, and it needs to be restored urgently!
  • In the morning, If you see all the strips remaining on your arm it's not a good sign. Meaning, it's likely the thyroid function is not normal!
Attention! If you suffer from hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) - rapid heartbeat , nervousness, anxiety and irritability, sweating, and so on -  don't perform this test, your palpitations become more frequent, so this practice is not for you!

Now, to the Iodine Deficiency Treatment:
  1. In the evening, before going to bed paint a 5 cm by 5 cm square on the front of your right shin;
  2. Next evening, paint exactly the same square on the left shin;
  3. After that, paint a 5 cm by 5 cm square on your right inner forearm;
  4. On the fourth evening do the same on your left hand!
  5. Then, go back to the left leg;
  6. The next day, do the same on your right leg;
  7. The last evening paint the square on THE LEFT HAND!
As you see, this is a fairly simple recipe! The main thing is do not mix anything up, and do not miss a single evening! If you missed it, you will need to start again from the beginning only in 2 weeks!

Check out other useful recipes for iodine treatment (just do not combine the following recipes with those written above):

1. If you have gynecological inflammations or diseases, apply an iodine mesh on the lower abdomen (and on the sides of it) for 3-5 nights in a row. Approximately like that ⇓... ;-), but not on the level of the stomach.

2. Having gastrointestinal diseases, drink a few drops of iodine, dissolved in a small amount of water or milk during 3-5 evenings in a row.
3. If you have stretching or wrist/hip dislocations, apply an iodine mesh on that spot once a day for several days in a row.
4. If you have a cold, iodine inhalations will help. To do so, simply open the vial, wait a few seconds, and then inhale through each nostril the iodine vapor directly from the vial 3-5 times. Also, paint an iodine mesh on your feet and legs. The iodine will increase the blood circulation and provide a warming effect.
5. To get rid of a runny nose, apply a thin iodine mesh on the dorsal bridge, base and nose wings. Get a clear solution or tincture of iodine in this case.
6. If you feel throat sore, the iodine mesh can be applied externally on the throat. Get a clear solution or tincture of iodine in this case.
7. If you are suffering from a dry cough, and have a fever that does not exceed 38 degrees, apply an iodine mesh on the chest area. Iodine helps to increase blood circulation, which allows localizing the inflammatory process from the very beginning.
8. Having back pain, mix one teaspoon of iodine with one teaspoon of lemon juice. Soak a cotton swab with this mixture and rub the back. After 3-4 hours, ask someone to examine your back, those places where iodine disappeared are problematic. You should repeat the procedure every day (the mix is supposed to be fresh each time you apply it) until the complete recovery. Or, draw the iodine net on the back for several days

Perform these procedures at night, before bedtime! Allow it to dry before touching anything, as it will stain. Avoid drafts if you do it in the daytime!
